About this story…..

“Silvertone Blues is an autobiographical expedition through the life and music of Robbie Leavitt. From picking up a guitar at fifteen, this narrative chronicles my passion for music as it unfolds over the years with clarity, humor, and moments of poignancy. It weaves together evolving connections to musical ensembles, meaningful relationships, and the personal challenges throughout this journey.”

As suggested in the title page, this is a long story, covering 50 years, over 50,000 words and more than 270 minutes read time. Additionally, there are many more minutes of archival recordings and videos at the end. Thank you for your time, I’ve enjoyed the ride, hope you do as well.

….in this new world of digital connection and creation, I would like to state that no AI was used in writing this story, in any of the music or images. I’m pretty old school…I’ve moved on from flip phones and have embraced digital technology, but creating and thinking on my own is a nice aspect of life.
